An opportunity to get together and do something a little bit different. You can choose from the workshops shown below or contact us to discuss your requirements for a bespoke workshop. In our relaxed, comfortable and well equipped studio, you will be guided by Sarah throughout to experiment and enjoy some creative time together. No pressure, no expectations and no previous experience needed. Just an opportunity to engage with art and make some memories.

75th Birthday Get Together
We had a fabulous time at Art Studio Ross for my mum's birthday. Sarah, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating during the booking process, recommending activities that would suit our requirements. On the day she gave us a very warm welcome and an easy to follow demonstration for letter pressing. All materials and equipment were provided and we created some lovely prints to take away. It was brilliant to try out a craft we'd never done before in a fun and supportive space. I recommend Art Studio Ross for adults and children alike.

This year I decided to opt for alternative, festive Christmas gifts and I took my son and 3 friends to ‘Art Studio Ross’ for a craft workshop. We were given a warm welcome by Sarah and within minutes she had the children started on a warm up typography task. The children learned the difference between artists and illustrators, ways to use powdered pigments and printing techniques to make beautiful artwork. The children were encouraged to be as expressive as they dared and absolutely loved the session. The atmosphere in the studio was relaxed, yet fun and inspiring to the children (& myself). We thoroughly enjoyed the session and we are looking forward to visiting Sarah at Art Studio Ross again soon.

Great workshop!
I did a modern calligraphy workshop with my sister and a friend one evening last week.  We had great fun and loved every minute of it!  Sarah was a great tutor- she was friendly and encouraging, enabling us to get good results with just an hour’s tuition.  I’ve been practising ever since!  This is a great introduction to modern calligraphy for anyone who would like to make their own cards etc. Â
Definitely a fun way to learn a new skill. Â
